Listed Australian gas developer,Po Valley Energy (ASX: PVE), announced today an update on its production testing and drilling program at the Vitalba and Sillaro wells in northern Italy.
Vitalba has been perforated at the two lower levels (of four) from 1611-1613m and 1617-1620m with the tubing and well head installed. The well is complete and ready for testing and production. As planned, a 3-5 day production test will be conducted at Vitalba #1 in the week of 14 June 2005.
The Ideco 1200 rig has been moved southeast from Vitalba to the new location at Sillaro. Rig up at Sillaro is expected later this week and spud in of the well during the week of 7 June. An announcement will be made at the time of the spud in.
