Po Valley Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Short as
a non-executive director of Po Valley Energy and the appointment of
Roberto Fazioli as a non-executive director of Northsun Italia Spa, Po
Valley’s 100% owned Italian operating company.
Greg Short is a geologist who worked with Exxon in exploration,
development and production geosciences and management for 33 years in
Australia, Malaysia, USA, Europe and Angola. During his time in Europe,
Greg was actively involved in Exxon’s activities in the Netherlands and
Germany. Greg was Geoscience Director of Exxon’s successful development
of its Angola offshore operations.
Graham Bradley, Chairman of Po Valley Energy, commenting on the
appointment stated that “We are delighted that Greg has joined us as a
director. His professional expertise and career experience means that he
brings to the Board a strong technical grounding in oil and gas
exploration, development and production including reserves definition
and management”.
Greg retired from Exxon in 2006 and is a non-executive director of ASX listed MEO Australia and Pryme Oil and Gas Limited.
Roberto Fazioli is based in the north of Italy and is active in a range
of downstream gas and energy distribution businesses. Roberto is
currently Chairman of Soelia, AIM Vicenza and Soenergy, local public
service companies. Soenergy distributes gas and electricity in the
province of Ferrara and Modena, with more than 26,000 final consumers.
He is also a professor of Business Studies at Ferrara University.
“Roberto’s appointment brings valuable business experience to our
management team. His deep knowledge of the Italian energy industry and
regulatory environment will significantly strengthen our local operating
capability” Mr Bradley said.
